Christchurch Revaluation Rates Available Online Tomorrow

March 11, 2014

Christchurch rates rise on average for residential properties by 16.2%, rural and commercial by 9%. What this means is that the average residential property will pay an extra $2.83 per week in rates although the rates rise is not across the board, with some paying less and some more depending on the area.

QV's revalutations will be revealed to ratepayers by mail over the next few days, and available online tomorrow.  There is the opportunity to log an objection, but you have 6 weeks to do so. You can learn more about Christchurch property revaluation on the Chirstchurch City Council website.
